Construction
Observation

BMJ Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. offers construction observation services for projects. BMJ’s team of construction engineering technicians are relied upon by municipalities, developers, and other clients for our expertise in ensuring a project is constructed in accordance with construction plans and specifications. We communicate effectively with contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, business owners, and property owners

.

BMJ’s technicians observe and document the activities involved in a construction project from start-up to final completion. Input and field data from technicians are relied upon for pay estimates, work orders, change orders, and other contract administration requirements.

Our construction engineering technicians have received extensive training in many important project safety issues, including excavation safety and traffic control. We are also licensed by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) as Storm Water Operators (SWO) and Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control (SESC) Inspectors.

Our staff’s presence as the client’s representative on a project site creates a cohesive team which leads to a successful project.
