An important aspect to the construction phase of any project is project administration. Changes to the design and contract of a project are common during the construction phase and contract management is essential. The BMJ Engineers & Surveyors, Inc. staff is MDOT prequalified to provide project administration services.We are certified at the state level and experienced in contract management from material tracking and pay estimates, to contract modifications and wage rate compliance. Our project administrators work closely with our field inspectors and lab technicians to ensure that construction activities are well documented, the materials meet specifications, and the contract is properly executed.

 

BMJ’s project administrators have training through the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) in Office Management Procedures and are certified to work on federal and state funded projects. They have also completed courses in Prevailing Wage Training, Material Acceptance Training, and FieldManager software.
